MICRO CHEER
Our micro cheer team is the first level our cheerleaders get to compete at. The micro team is more advanced in degree of difficulty and focuses on further developing the fundamental skills of cheerleading learned at the mini level. Micro cheerleaders practice 3 times per week for 2 hours at a time. An additional practice per week is added approximately a month prior to competition.

MEET THE COACHES
SYDNI
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, HEAD MICRO COACH
After going through this program as a child, I moved onto high school cheer and, once that was over, it felt only fitting to end up back on the field where I started. The 2023 season will be my 8th season coaching this team, and I love it more each year. Watching these kids grow as individuals, develop confidence, and learn about teamwork fuels my passion to coach. I love seeing a new skill “click” and witnessing the resilience that kids exhibit when something doesn't go exactly as planned. The kids think they're just cheering, but I know they're building skills and learning lessons that will follow them for the rest of their lives.

MICRO COACH
The 2023 season will be my 7th season with this team. As a former cheerleading in this program, I went on to cheer through high school. After completing bootcamp and training for the Air National Guard in 2015, I joined Sydni for the 2016 season and have been here since. I love seeing how excited the girls get when they learn a new skill and watching how they persevere and overcome obstacles thrown their way. I really enjoy being able to teach them new skills whether they are cheerleading specific or general skills that they will use throughout their lives. My favorite thing, though, is watching them have fun while they learn and advance as individuals.
